Won't catch the Lake Show tonight, but the good American that I am, I'm watching the World Series in Nuggets Country with my all-time favorite people to watch baseball with .. my tWo brothers!!!

We came up with a classic question: WHO'S IN THE BOOTH??!!

We agreed upoon: Vin Scully, Phil Rizzuto (we're biased, but we KNOW) and Bob Uecker. Many names were bantied about (including Mel Allen, Joe Buck, Harry Carey, Joe Garagiola and several others), but this is the one we thought would have the best chemistry. We are old, intense baseball fans. Would love to hear your "Who's in the Booth!"

Juuuuust a bit outside . . as Bob Uecker would say. The Mets did their best and damn-near had the game wrapped up and ready to go back to KC but those Royals are just too good. Congrats on a great season for the "other" NY team and we'll see you when pitchers and catchers report!!

As predicted Royals in 5. Helluva team. My condolences, Jesus.

Jake wins CY Young Award! Bryant wins Rookie of the Year! Cubs won over 90 games and went to NLCS, too bad they didn't show up against the Mets. Still a Good season. Happy to see the Cubs be respectable for once.

What's up with Greinke leaving the Dodgers. He signed with Arizona!

I was pretending to ignore the loss of Greinke but hey we've had him and Kersh for a few years now and still keep coming up ZEROES in the pennant race. Our new manager will have some lineup decisions to make but overall we are still contenders for the NL West crown.

Cubs win opener 9-0, Jake with a shutout. This is my year I just feel it as in, I just won the Fantasy League, Peyton won the SB, Cubs are going to win the WS, Colts will bounce back and go 11-5 again/make a deep run in the Playoffs again, but most importantly we are going to draft Ben Simmons

Giants trounce the Brewers, Rockies slap down the new NL West hopeful Diamondbacks, and to top them all my man Kershaw goes out and fans nine (including ex-Dodgers star Matt Kemp) as the Padres give up the worst opening-day loss in MLB history, 15-0.

The NL will be more competitive this year, and the West in particular will be an all-year battle.

Play Ball!
