lakerevolution wrote:Well, well, well . . . the NL is just a mess this year, isn't it? Cubs and Brewers and Rockies and Dodgers, oh my! These one-gamers are going to affect the pitching rotations for each team, but you have to send your best out there. The Dodgers and Cubs hold the advantage in that aspect, I think - in addition to having home field advantage. If the Cubs and Dodgers both lose, wouldn't be crazy to see them have to play each other in a one-game Wild Card elimination? The Cubs and Brewers have HFA over the Rockies and Dodgers, but all these teams are good on the road. And the Braves just get to sit back and watch.
My predictions are:
National League:
Dodgers over Rockies for the NL West title.
Cubs over Brewers for the NL Central title.
Brewers over Rockies for the Wild Card spot.
Cubs over Braves in the NLDS.
Dodgers over Brewers in the NLDS.
Dodgers over Cubs in the NLCS.
American League:
Yankees over Athletics for the Wild Card spot.
Red Sox over Yankees in the ALDS
Astros over Indians in the ALDS.
Red Sox over Astros in the ALCS.
Dodgers over Red Sox in the World Series!
(ok, probably not going to happen)

Next up -- Athletics @ Yankees!!

Not even close, but I know you're bummed.
