Last year was apparently a "no stress" decision, too. If they take Okafor, we take KAT. If they take KAT we take Okafor. Well, we all know what happened there....

What happened was the wrong decision. I have to have Russell's back because he is ours but we should've took Okafor.

I really hope Russell proves me wrong but I didn't see 1 thing in his rookie season to do that. I loved the way Randle has the ability to Rebound at times but he didn't impress me offensively either. Clarkson is better than both and if anyone doesn't think so, state facts why. Here are concrete facts - Clarkson averaged more Points and shot a higher FG% than Russell and Randle, he also is much better from the FT line % wise. I would package Russell and Randle for Cousins if the Queens would fall for it, sign DeRozan and Draft Benny or Ingram. Then we would be in business. We would have Cousins, DeRozan as 2 Stars, Clarkson, Ben/Ingram, Lou, and Huertus as a foundation to keep building! We then need to sign 1 guy that can bury the 3 consistently, not sure who but add him to the guys I listed and we will be Good again.

Anyone who prefers Okafor hasn't watched basketball. Okafor might be one of the worst players in the league.

We made the wrong pick? Man you guys have never been more wrong.

Okafor won't be in Philadelphia in 3 years

3peat. Not only are those trades unrealistic, you are putting together some of the worst "good players" in the league.

Talent evaluation seems to be a strength of the FO.

Clarkson?

Answer me this, who had a better Rookie Season Okafor or Russell. You are starting to sound like Tate more and more everyday. Russell had a mediocre Rookie Season at best but yet you rip Okafor and not Russell? Russell and Randle both are trade bait if you ask me if the right trade comes along. No love here anymore, I am sick of losing. 3 years of terrible Basketball is enough. I am not asking for the world but I want to see improvement. 17 wins, really? and you are ok with that. Hell I could put Rev, Nuggs, put Tate at Center, have you and me on the floor and we could win 17 games LOL

Kobe was on that team.

Playing like dog shit, taking the ball out of Russell's hands.

OKC in KD's second season they started 3-29.

That's Westbrook and Durant who just beat the champs at home.

Good points but I did think Okafor had a solid Rookie Season. He averaged 17 Points, 7 Boards, and shot above 50%. He did get injured but nothing that will affect him moving forward. I don't think Russell is a Bad player and he may improve a lot next season, for our sake I hope he does but his Rookie Season wasn't anything to be hopeful about. All I am saying is if the perfect trade came along regarding he or Randle we have to consider it, maybe not do it but consider it.

What the hell that all about? NOBODY sounds like Tate, but Tate, mofo, and don't you forget it! :tapfoot:

I almost put a sarcasm font behind that actually but I figured you would think I was clowning around so I didn't. There is only 1 Tate that is for sure and I like him!

To show you guys how much the Draft is a crapshoot, do you guys know Hasheem Thabeet, and Jonny Flynn got Drafted ahead of Steph Curry in 2009. That shit I cant even make up!!

I know how could Portland fuck up twice! LOL. At least they do have Lillard though and a promising team.

Thabeet and Flynn were the last mistakes of that caliber until Bennett.

Now teams are more savvy.

Sure there will be some crapshoots.

But what's funny is guys that you mentioned were never seen as can't miss prospects.

Just to play Devil's Advocate, just look at where the vast majority of the rotation players on the 4 teams remaining in the playoffs were drafted. MOST of them were lottery picks.

Watching Highly Questionable on ESPN and they are already reporting Ben Simmons wants no part of the Sixers. He wants to play for the Lakers. I was hoping this would happen. People say Ben cant shoot, LeBron couldn't either when he came into the league so who cares.

I want Ingram, but so does Philly, in all likelihood.

I would prefer Simmons because he is like a 6'10 Point Guard. He's a guy that can get you 17 Points, 10 Rebounds, and 10 Assists on any given night even without a consistent jump shot. He reminds me of a taller version of Scottie Pippen. The only weakness he has is he struggles with his outside shot but so did players like Magic and LeBron when they entered the league. That is something he can improve on easily though with the right Coaching. If we Draft Ingram I will still be happy too. Cant go wrong with either. In other news we hired Brian Shaw to be Lead Assistant.
