Yeah I didn't think he was that old. I know once you turn 30 it seems like life flies by. This last decade has been a blur for me. Jazz add a nice old vet that can score.

These players and teams just keep recycling each other like soap opera sex. Where is the consistency?

The Lakers are lying in wait like Al Qaeda. Patiently grooming the younger generation and will strike wen no one is looking. I hate to make that comparison, but it is what it is.

There is none. There is very little loyalty anymore either. I hope Durant stays in OKCity, that will show me he is loyal.

I would throw a ton of money at Rondo, any thoughts? He could mentor Russell and he's a damn Good player. We would be stacked at Guard with Russell, Clarkson, Huertas, Lou, and Rondo. Maybe Mozgov can mentor Zubac as well? Zubac could become something special, I like his attitude and size. I don't see him being another Sacre. I think eventually Randle will be similar to ZBo, not saying as beastly but I can see him having stretches like ZBo has had in his career. Randle plays relentless at times and is a lefty, lefty's are hard to stop + his Rebounding at times shows he can become a double figure Rebounder nightly. If Russell can reach Jeff Teague levels who is solid Good than I will be happy - that is all we need because I am counting on Ingram being the diamond in the rough.

This is just the dumbest thing I've read since that Pro-Trump post on Facebook:

DeMar DeRozan, who grew up in L.A. idolizing Kobe, quickly inked a hefty deal to stay in Toronto. He told Bruce Arthur of the Toronto Star why he didn't consider the Lakers:

"And for me, to be second all-time scoring, the most wins as a Raptor, that's something — you might not see it now, but that's a legacy. Unless you go there and win seven championships, there's no overshadowing who played (with the Lakers) for 20 years. That's that. My whole mindset has always been, what can I do here that'll separate me from others? And maybe someday, somebody will say, I want to try to pass DeMar. I want to do what DeMar did."

There's no glory in being a Laker right now. In Los Angeles you compete against the ghosts of the past. In their current state, the Lakers are in no position to contend for titles. So, as DeMar indicates, what's the point? You'll be a hero to no one. There's no upside for a young star -- even one with deep L.A. roots -- to join the Lakers.

What a loser mentality. Ok you win a little in Toronto. So? There's no luster in that. Especially since they aren't winning a championship. Shoot they were lucky they got past Miami in the playiffs. If Whiteside was healthy, there's no way they get past Miami.

On the flip side, winning in the Laker Kingdom makes you immortal. You actually become a part of an elite fraternity. You adding to the Laker legend & lore gives you adoration forever from the most passionate & loyal fans the league boasts. If you don't want a part of that, I'm sorry. You're a loser. But yes he said this. But this was all about money. He shouldn't had said this BS and just be honest that he couldn't refuse the money and extra 5th year. Anywats, It's a win win. He's a volume shooter who would had messed with the growth of our up & coming young core.

Craig

Genius post! He is a fucking loser. Give me a guy like Deng who has never won a chip but who wants to play a bigger role with a young team any day. Much better defender and 3 pt shooter anyway.

Rondo needs starter's minutes and D'Angelo is our 1. Younger and a better shooter. Clarkson is way more athletic than Rajon as well. Nope and nope.

Al Horford signed with the Celtics, 4 years for 113 Million! Unfortunately I seen this coming. I just heard Harrison Barnes is getting ready to sign with the Mavs, watch Durant go to the Warriors!

The Warriors can match any offer that the Mavs put out but not sure they will after the way Barnes played in the Finals?
