Update my Top 20 NBA players ever, watching since 1977

OK I am bored people but not much has changed with my solid list. No, Steph Curry isn't in my Top 20 yet nor is Kevin Durant. Players like George Mikan, Dirk Nowitzki, Charles Barkley, Bob Pettit, and Kevin Garnett aren't either. Neither is Scottie Pippen, Reggie Miller, Clyde Drexler or our own James Worthy who I love dearly but here is who should be IMO as of March 20th, 2016:
20. Dwyane Wade, 20 suits him for his 20,000 Point tonight.
19. Isiah Thomas
18. Julius Erving
17. John Havlicek
16. Elgin Baylor
15. Karl Malone
14. Moses Malone
13. Jerry West
12. Hakeem Olajuwon
11. Oscar Robertson
10. LeBron James
9. Shaquille O'Neal
8. Tim Duncan
7. Larry Bird
6. Bill Russell
5. Kobe Bryant
4. Wilt Chamberlain
3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
2. Magic Johnson
1. Michael Jordan
-Lists are subjective and very tough to do! You have to factor in Stats, Overall Games Won, Championships won and how important that player was to his team, League MVP's won = Bird won 3 in a row from 1984-1986, Finals MVP's won, What era a player played in, How dominant a player was at his position, Longevity, Clutchness of a player, Leadership a player brings to the table, and Eye test - of course I only have film/video on the players that played prior to 1977. This is my Top 20 as of now and I am sticking to it. That Top 5 has 4 players that have worn a Lakers uniform but I cant see how anyone can keep Magic, Kareem, Wilt, or Kobe out of the Top 5? I am a Lakers fan and very unbiased but they are Top 5 players of all-time simple as that and actually Wilt had his best seasons playing for Philly anyway. So Wilt belongs to Philly more than he does LA much like Peyton belongs to Indianapolis more than he does Denver for example.

I'll add to this, I cant see LeBron moving up on my list unless he wins a Championship in Cleveland and I don't see it happening. 10 is about right for him. The Cavs aren't beating the Warriors or Spurs without HCA. My LeBron watch will start come Playoff time :goofylaf:

The LeBron's lose to the Nets. If I was a Cavs fan I would just give up at this point!

Elgin Baylor needs to be 2-3 spots higher. Where's Rick Barry? Garnett? Petit? Pistol Pete?

I mentioned Kevin Garnett and Bob Pettit above as just missing my Top 20. I admit I probably do underrate Elgin Baylor too much. Hearing how Tate and Nuggs talk about him he is probably arguably Top 10 ever. Rick Barry = Top 30 but not Top 20 IMO. Pistol Pete = 2nd Greatest College player of all-time behind Lew/Kareem but I would say in the Pro's he isn't Top 20 of all-time.

Congratulations to Allen Iverson for making the Hall of Fame. He deserves it. He is definitely a Top 50 player of all-time.

So far we have Shaq - obvious, Iverson - Top 50 player ever IMO, and Yao to enter the HOFame in this up coming class. How do you guys feel about Yao making it? I don't have a problem with it but I have to be honest, Rik Smits was just as Great of an NBA player! and he will never sniff the HOFame. Smits could've averaged 18-20 a game over a 10 year period if he was the first option. Look at his stats per 36 minutes even.

So far Shaquille O'Neal, Allen Iverson, Yao Ming, and Zelmo Beaty have been inducted into the Hall of Fame for 2016! Zelmo Beaty played for the Lakers during the 1975 Season.
