The 2nd of 2. Grizzlies won the 1st match 128-119. Lakers come in with a record of 11-48 and continue to be in the Ben Simmons sweepstakes while the Grizzlies continue to maintain the 5th Seed in the West. GAME 60

Thanks for posting 3-Peat! We actually scored enough points last game. But where's the defense? We gave up 128 points to a low scoring team. If we don't keep our top 3 protected pick this year what a waste that would be!!

If we get the

#1 pick = Draft Simmons
#2 pick Draft Ingram
##3 pick use it as trade bait

I agree 100%. If we get a Top 2 pick I would roll with even Ingram if we cant get Ben at #1. If we pick #3 I would use that as huge trade bait because outside of Ben and Ingram it really is a complete crapshoot. We have no use for Buddy Heild because we have Russell and Clarkson but a lot of other teams would at #3 :santa2:

A good growth opportunity for the youngsters - the closest to a playoff-type situation, facing the same team back to back. Study film, learn tendencies, go with instinct. We might just eek out a win!

3Peat checking in, Game 60. I have a funny feeling we could win this one. After this game, only 22 left.

It has become hard for me to watch the Laker games, now. Kobe had that rough start, then seemed to gain his legs and had a run of decent games. Since the ASG he seems to be just running out the string. He seems to have little drive or emotion in his game and shooting. No D at all. (Not the Kobe we have seen for 20 years. No Kobe anger at all.) I don't think we'll see any more 30+ games from him, which means boring garbage time for me. The rooks and Clarkson have some drive to their game, but who really cares. I don't see the current FO able to do anything for our future in regards to true stars coming in. I don't see any of our roster becoming the next Westbrook or 2nd tier players at best. Randle looks like a double-double machine, but also has to get a true right hand to keep other teams from predicting his every move, going forward.

Anyway, I guess I'm down to:

KOBE FOR 20............

As Ken mentioned, we'll be at Staples for the game vs. the Hawks on March 4th. I hope Kobe plays, since the whole purpose is to see him one last time!

Yeah............I was wringing my hands about the Pepsi Center game on March 2, but the prices knocked me out, plus Kobe rarely plays in Denver (Colorado rage).

I am not beyond flying to LA for one last game, however................................

The guy he goes to games with was tied up in work, so I'm taking his spot. Just had to *ding!* Southwest to LAX and I'll buy him dinner and drinks or something. Gonna spend Saturday in Manhattan Beach soaking up the sun - hopefully - then party with friends. Hoping to get Craig and Rob out to hang pre-game Friday if possible. Craig, Rob, come hang with two complete maniacs!

Here at work but have been able to watch every bit of this game and man are we bad! We play absolutely no Defense! No Kobe tonight either. Not even Halftime yet and we have given up 62 points already. Down 20, SMH. You would think by Game 60 our team Defense and Chemistry would at least be respectable. Grizzlies have made 7 3's, we don't even guard the 3 point line.

67-50 at Half. Grizzlies are on pace to score over 130.

Down 104-75. I look at a game like tonight and don't see any improvement in our young players or team since the opener. Hell the Grizz don't even have Gasol and we are down 29. Lance and Vince are killing us.

To follow my Post up, Russell did score 22 Points but 13 of them were in the 3rd Qtr when the game was already over, when we were down big. That's why I like watching the games instead of just looking at the box score when I get my chances. Someone who didn't watch the game would think Russell had a Great game but in reality he really didn't because the Grizzlies already had the game won at halftime and were just coasting in the 3rd and 4th Qtr's. Russell plays no Defense either, the Grizzlies torched us from 3 and they aren't even known for being a 3 point shooting team. Oh well, only 22 games left of this dog doo.

Wow . . thought we would compete, but Memphis has to prove to itself that it can beat the worst by a wide margin even without Gasol. We are really bad right now, I hope our FO has a big plan in store because Laker fans will not put up with this another year.
